Crest a hill or turn a corner and it looks like there&#8217;s a lake ahead&#8230;but as you approach, the lake becomes a sea of little blue flowers! That would be a field of flax, or so I&#8217;m told. I&#8217;m not a farmer.<\/p>\n<p>I found this field, complete with a fallen farmhouse, close to Douglas Bay over the weekend. That&#8217;s just west of the National Guard&#8217;s training facility. I&#8217;m afraid I wasn&#8217;t able to catch the effect that makes this field look like a body of water, but I haven&#8217;t given up.
