<\/center>This is the stuff that they were NOT fixing. I don’t know if this has been addressed since Lunda fenced off the area surrounding the bridge, but it makes me nervous every time I take my family across it. Sure, they fixed the parts of the piers over the river which were turning to rubble, but even a cursory inspection of the rest of the bridge gave me some pretty scary photos.<\/p>\nThe new bridge is expected to open in late 2009 if I remember correctly…hopefully they’re taking care of the old bridge in the mean time!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
