Clark riverboat to the shore this weekend as the river level jumped up in the area.\u00a0 The park is closed and water is high due to ice packing in downstream.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2016\/02\/riverboat_36507.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4924\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2016\/02\/riverboat_36507-500x333.jpg\" alt=\"riverboat_36507\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2016\/02\/riverboat_36507.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2016\/02\/riverboat_36507-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2016\/02\/riverboat_36507-450x300.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a>Every year they take this boat out of the water with a huge crane and set it on some heavy duty cribbing until spring.\u00a0 That&#8217;s all fine and dandy until the water rises to the level of the boat anyway.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2016\/02\/riverboat_36515.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4925\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2016\/02\/riverboat_36515-500x333.jpg\" alt=\"riverboat_36515\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2016\/02\/riverboat_36515.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2016\/02\/riverboat_36515-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2016\/02\/riverboat_36515-450x300.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a>Even the ice machine wanted to get into the act.\u00a0 That&#8217;s a pretty decent seal, although I doubt that water is going to do the compressor or electrical components any favors.<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t take a look at the water level indicator further down River Road, but I did notice some water in the ditches and low lying areas further north along the road.\u00a0 Hopefully we don&#8217;t have to deal with more flooding this year, in Bismarck or anywhere else in North Dakota.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Crews spent some time lashing the Lewis &amp;
