So I took a little time Friday afternoon to visit a church nearby that I hadn&#8217;t stopped to investigate before:  the Glencoe Sloan church, southeast of Bismarck-Mandan on Highway 1804.   <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2018\/01\/glencoe_sloan_church_54880-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5877\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2018\/01\/glencoe_sloan_church_54880-2-500x333.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2018\/01\/glencoe_sloan_church_54880-2.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2018\/01\/glencoe_sloan_church_54880-2-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2018\/01\/glencoe_sloan_church_54880-2-450x300.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a>I had a good photography year last year, and one thing I did (but didn&#8217;t post on the ol&#8217; Blog) was to chase down many old prairie churches.  Some were abandoned, some were almost wreckage, but all were beautiful in their own way.<\/p>\n<p>I hope to work on a calendar or some other project featuring these churches, but I still have a few I&#8217;d like to add.  On my travel budget, that might have to wait for a bit.
