It&#8217;s been a busy winter.  An <strong>endless<\/strong> winter.  Even an <em>excruciating<\/em> winter.  But I did get out a couple of times with my camera.  Then I found myself too busy to post anything. It isn&#8217;t too far from town, in North Dakota terms, and it has some really cool features.  I found it in the rain once, and really loved it then.  It&#8217;s nice in the winter, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/04\/fallen_farm_9634.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7652\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/04\/fallen_farm_9634.png 500w, https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/04\/fallen_farm_9634-150x100.png 150w, https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/04\/fallen_farm_9634-450x300.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Its most interesting feature is the storm\/root cellar with its metal door.  It looked really cool in the rain, surrounded by lush vegetation, and it looks pretty cool surrounded by snow as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"333\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/02\/fallen_farm_9684.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7620\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/02\/fallen_farm_9684.png 333w, https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/02\/fallen_farm_9684-100x150.png 100w, https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/02\/fallen_farm_9684-200x300.png 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 333px) 100vw, 333px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Drifted in.  Looks cold, doesn&#8217;t it?  It <em>was<\/em> cold.  It was worth the visit, though&#8230;especially for a guy with cabin fever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/02\/fallen_farm_9678.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7619\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/02\/fallen_farm_9678.png 500w, https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/02\/fallen_farm_9678-150x100.png 150w, https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/02\/fallen_farm_9678-450x300.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Warm brick colors on a cold day always make for a nice picture.  I love the idea of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">any<\/span> color other than the white of the snow (which is technically <em>all<\/em> colors combined) or the blue sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/02\/fallen_farm_9694.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7621\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/02\/fallen_farm_9694.png 500w, https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/02\/fallen_farm_9694-150x100.png 150w, https:\/\/www.bismarckmandanblog.com\/images\/2023\/02\/fallen_farm_9694-450x300.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>OK, one more photo of this thing before I call it a day.  I can&#8217;t help it.  If I was one of those fence-hoppers who doesn&#8217;t respect private property, I&#8217;d check it out. But I&#8217;m not, so I&#8217;ll admire from afar.
